For the past 13 years and through over 1,800 performances, Nate "the Great" Marshall has been drifting town to town entertaining folks along the way. As a solo artist and with his duo Nate & Kate, Nate has offered funny, personal, sometimes participatory original rootsy, melodic songs, sing-along favorites, occasionally impressive juggling routines, and a whole lotta patter. His newest project, Nate & The Family Band, is an expansion on the Nate & Kate duo show and features a great lineup of musicians playing folk-rock, blues, and swing tunes, some old tv themes, and original music from LOVE & MONEY, the band's debut album. Trumpet, banjo, piano, guitar, harmonica, harmony vocals and a pocket rhythm section provide a rich foundation of vintage Americana sound and setting for Nate’s stories and melodies.
